About The Job We are looking for someone who is passionate about seeing young people coming to faith and growing in their faith. They will be a disciple maker, with a heart for evangelism and outreach, who is excited to continue with what God is already doing here and to lead us into the next season. They will be able to engage and communicate effectively with young people and their parents, and enjoy working both as part of the church's leadership team and with church leaders across the deanery.
The church has a strong history of youth discipleship, outreach and schools work. This role would continue to develop youth ministry across OneChurch Harrow and play a lead role within the Deanery and the Willesden Area of Diocese of London. We have a full youth programme run by dedicated volunteers and host a weekly evening service aimed particularly at young people across the area, started in 2018 as part of our commissioning as a Youth Minister.
If you would like to be part of the story that God is writing here at St. Peter's, willing to follow wherever the Holy Spirit is leading, we would LOVE to hear from you. We have put together a job description but we are also open to shaping the role around the person that God has called here.
How To Apply? Interested candidates should submit a Covering Letter and CV, outlining how you meet the personal specification and explaining why you feel a sense of God's call for this role. If you would like to have an informal discussion about this role with our vicar, Jon, please call 020 8422 6297.
Applications will close on Monday 2nd December at 6pm. Please note this post carries a genuine occupational requirement that the holder be a practicing Christian under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010. Applicants will need to provide proof of right to work in the UK according to UK Legislation.
