Are you passionate about student development, with a proven track record in pastoral care? We are looking for an experienced colleague to join our team at Moreton School, someone ready to make a real difference to our Year 8 cohort. As a non-teaching Head of Year, you'll lead with empathy, energy, and commitment, working closely with an inspiring Assistant Headteacher to support and nurture our students. If you are driven by progress and passionate about guiding young people, this is the perfect role for you.
As Head of Year 8, you will take on key responsibilities in supporting the personal and academic development of our students. You'll be instrumental in driving up standards and ensuring each student feels supported and motivated to achieve their best. Working with the existing pastoral team, you'll lead initiatives that promote positive behaviour, well-being, and engagement, while also playing a crucial role in our students' success and happiness.
We are seeking a candidate who has significant experience in pastoral work, with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of student well-being. You should be ready to collaborate effectively, lead with passion, and contribute to the growth of our school community. A commitment to professional development and a track record of driving positive outcomes for students is essential. You will be supported by two Lead Behaviour Professionals and form a team of Pastoral Leaders led by the Assistant Headteacher. This is a massive opportunity for someone to make an impactful difference to our students.
If you believe in high expectations, student-centred support, and are excited by the prospect of working in a school focused on progress, we'd love to hear from you.
