Position Overview: This UK-based senior management role will be pivotal in ensuring that our client solutions continue to remain efficient, compliant with relevant Operational Tax regulations, and adapt with regulatory change. Through effective management of our people, processes, technology and change management, you will drive the Tax Operations function through a significant phase of growth.

You will be responsible for leading a team to deliver a rapidly expanding portfolio of Operational Tax solutions, including Automatic Exchange of Information reporting and withholding tax obligations. You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for change, and delivering those changes; connecting expertly with clients to understand their specific needs.

You will help our Private Markets clients comfortably navigate complex regulatory landscapes by utilising your:

market-leading SME knowledge in Operational Taxes; track record in leading a tax reporting function; delivery management skills; commitment to excellence; and ability to drive change. Responsibilities: Responsible for the timely, accurate and complete Operational Tax reporting to tax authorities across all relevant fund jurisdictions. Responsible for functional delivery of AEOI classification and due diligence processes for fund entities/investors. Responsible for management and delivery of relevant tax documentation processes as required for both AEOI and US Withholding tax purposes. Responsible for management of Delivery and Technical support teams, located in Mauritius and Cape Town, providing top-class leadership, coaching & development for your team through their professional development journey. Maintain a comprehensive, up to date control framework for Tax Operations, including operating procedures, technology and guides. Build strong client and internal relationships, being the day-to-day Operational Tax SME for all of our clients and internal stakeholders. Identify opportunities and collaborate with the Global Head of Tax Services, tech and product teams to ensure new and enhanced Tax Services are implemented to plan. Manage, maintain and enhance as appropriate, reporting of key Tax Services KPIs to both the Chief Operating Officer and Global Head of Tax Services. Role model best practice in Operational Tax SME knowledge, operational delivery, collaboration with operational, CRM and technology peers. Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to deliver risk mitigation strategies for people, processes & systems when required. Maintain detailed records of deliveries, reporting regularly to the Chief Operating Officer, and updating the Accountable Lead (Global Head of Tax Services) regularly. Maintaining KPIs for Tax Services at (or above) business targets. Maintaining IDR and their clients' compliance with all relevant Operational Tax regulations. Ensure management of the continuing professional development of your team. Qualifications: Excellent knowledge, both operationally and technically, of FATCA/CRS and US withholding. Track record of managing technology solutions for Operational Taxes. A proven leader, with excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving skills. Able to analyse and manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously to meet deadlines. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
