This is a unique opportunity to lead tax strategy and compliance for a high-growth business while driving improvements and ensuring robust governance.
As Head of Tax, you will oversee tax compliance, risk management, and strategic planning, collaborating with internal teams, auditors, HMRC, and external advisors.
You will report to the Head of Finance and lead a small, high-performing tax team, making an immediate impact on the organisation's financial processes and strategy.

The opportunity to shape the tax function of a dynamic, fast-growing organisation Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement the group's tax strategy, ensuring compliance with regulations and readiness for future tax changes Manage all tax obligations, including corporate tax (Supported by EY), VAT, employment tax, and IR35, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Lead tax aspects of acquisitions, including due diligence, integration, and alignment with group processes.
Oversee transfer pricing, SAO compliance, and tax-related financial reporting.
Identify and implement efficiencies in tax reporting and compliance processes.
Provide expert advice to internal teams, including HR, payroll, and finance, on tax implications of business decisions.
Mentor and guide an Assistant Tax Manager, fostering professional development and team success.
What We're Looking For: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with extensive relevant post-qualification experience.
Strong background in tax leadership, preferably in large corporates or PE-backed environments, with M&A exposure as a bonus Excellent communication and stakeholder management, with the ability to influence at all levels Adaptability: A proactive approach to managing workload peaks, especially around deadlines
