Spencer - Richardson are proud to represent our client in finding their new Head of TA/Recruitment in a market leading construction and plant hire firm.This company takes pride in their commitment to sustainability, and are leading the movement in getting customers and clients in the construction industry to do their part too.
They've now entered an exciting time of sustainable growth, reinvesting into the business units to be the best in the industry.We are looking for a commercially driven and strategic recruitment leader to be instrumental in the company's success continuing with their ambitious growth plans.
This is an on-site role, working with some of the brightest and influential industry leaders in the sector.
Key Responsibilities:Create, implement and drive a best-in-class strategy to support ongoing recruitment in line with the growth trajectory of the business.
Work across multi-disciplinary teams, supporting senior directors, leadership team, sales and hire desk teams to understand their challenges, needs and skills gaps.
Lead the internal recruitment team and develop their careers, offering coaching, mentoring and commercial insight.
Forecast recruitment for a specific sector within the business - build a robust pipeline and define the talent attraction proposition.
Become the bridge between the business units and recruitment team - bringing solutions and strategic plans to deliver on projects.
Maintain regular contact and build relationships with new recruits/operators/foremen and identify any retention issues.
Be a strong ambassador for the business values.
To Be Successful: Proven strategic recruitment experience in a similar industry.
Knowledge of plant hire and machinery.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Syrinx.Demonstrable experience setting and achieving long-term plans and targets.
Previously managed and grown a CRM system.
Previous success in building a national recruitment strategy.
Strong people management skills.Diplomatic communication style.
The ability to pivot to the needs of the business and work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
Highly organised and personable.
