Head of Supply Chain Competitive Salary and Benefits Milton Keynes T2M Resourcing are working exclusively with a growing manufacturing business who are recruiting a Head of Supply Chain to lead strategy and delivery of inbound/outbound materials, materials planning, and warehousing.
As the Head of Supply Chain you will work closely with senior leaders in engineering, production, sales, and procurement to ensure the supply strategy meets the business needs.
Duties of a Head of Supply Chain: Leading the warehousing, supply chain, and materials planning teams.
Development, planning, and delivery of supply chain strategy.
Inventory and stock control oversight.
Continuous improvement activities, incorporating Six Sigma techniques.
Collaborative working with department leaders in engineering, procurement, and production.
Mentoring and development of staff.
Analysis and reporting on inventory, shipping, and materials planning.
Implementation of business change and new systems.
Requirements to be successful as a Head of Supply Chain: Supply Chain academic or vocational qualifications such as MCIPS or Lean Six Sigma.
Previous experience in leading a supply chain function.
Expert knowledge of supply chain, inventory, and materials planning.
Understanding of manufacturing business operations.
A champion of Health & Safety (IOSH qualification beneficial) Automotive or aerospace sector experience.
Capable of defining and implementing a supply chain strategy.
Clear and confident communicator.
Strong IT and MRP system skills.
Familiar with reporting tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
This role is based in Milton Keynes however will also require some travel in the UK, therefore a UK driving license is essential.
