Since our standout Dragon's Den pitch, we've grown into the world's largest gin club, launched one of Europe's largest rum clubs, and become a key player for a range of exciting beverages.
Now, we're ready to take things even further! As we expand into new markets, product categories, and distribution channels, we're seeking a Head of Supply Chain and Fulfilment to lead and optimise Craft Club's global supply chain strategy and operations.
Role overview: Craft Gin Club is involved in the entire end-to-end supply chain, this includes, but is not limited, to:
Dry Goods and Packaging procurement (design, sourcing and buying)Global inbound logistics (raw materials and finished goods)Distillation and bottling3PL finished unit / finished order assembly (subscriptions business, which can be 100K+ orders per month)3PL finished unit / finished order dispatch (subscriptions business, which can be 100K+ orders dispatched within a 3 day window)3PL pick, pack and dispatch (ecommerce Store)Carrier managementDuty managementAs well as having ownership of the end-to-end Supply Chain, this role will be responsible for managing a team of four operational head office staff, as well owning global supply chain budgets.
What we're looking for: An ambitious and tenacious operator. A candidate who is experienced in overseeing large, fast-paced supply chains (especially B2C / DTC). Someone who can hit the ground running and maintain and improve operational processes, while also being comfortable managing and reducing costs. We are looking for a leader in Supply Chain, who can not only lead by experience-based example, but who can also drive both operational partners and a head office team to achieve the desired commercial and operational objectives.
Experience and qualifications: Ideally at least 5 years experience in a similar role.Experience of B2C fulfilment and shipping is essential.Experience managing multi-million £ third party relationships (pick, pack and dispatch and carriage).Used to setting and working with demanding operational SLAs.Manufacturing experience (preferably drink industry based) would be useful but is not essential.Excellent people management skills.Excellent negotiation skills.Highly numerate (must be confident with data and Excel).Technology savvy (fair understanding of 3PL API interfaces and WMS systems).Excellent presentation and communication skills.Confident in problem solving and process mapping.Experience of dealing with alcohol duty and bonding would be a big plus (but not essential).Tenacious and determined.Ideally educated to degree level.Must be comfortable in a dynamic, "start-up" environment.Love of gin and rum is a plus!Other: Clean, full, UK drivers licence (ideal).UK based (Central London) but some UK and International travel required.Benefits: Central London location - with hybrid working (ability to work from home up to 3 days a week)25 days holiday (rising with length of service)Flexible working hoursReal career progression opportunitiesDynamic working environment in our small and dedicated teamRegular social eventsWeekly gin tastingFree Gin of the Month box every monthGenerous staff discount on our online storeAt Craft Gin Club we value diversity and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
