ABOUT THE ROLE Boden is a direct-to-consumer fashion brand operating across the US, UK and Europe with a significant majority of its sales coming from e-commerce.

We are looking for somebody to join us to lead a team of solution architects that each support one of our business domains.
We firmly believe solution architecture is the glue that helps us get the best out of technical and product teams by helping to unite our thinking across business processes, engineered components, and bought applications.
As Head of Solution Architecture, you will report to our Director of Engineering, and your role will be to build out the processes, templates, and structures within our solution architecture function to enable a consistent approach for solution architecture across our domains.
You will also be responsible for growing the individuals in our architecture team, helping them to understand how to act as a technical authority while still empowering our teams to contribute to solutions.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and manage a team of Solution Architects across our domains.Build an understanding of our technology landscape and leverage your team to ensure it is accurately and consistently documented.Define and own the processes for Solution Architecture ensuring our approach to defining solutions is consistent and communicated effectively across technology stakeholders.Own the Technical Design Forum ensuring technical decisions are made in a way that is aligned across the technical disciplines as well as across different domains.Work with our Head of Engineering, Head of Data Engineering, Snr Head of Product, and Head of Applications to define a technology strategy that maps our business strategy and capabilities into our technologies and environments.Define the Principles and Policies that guide our solution decisions.
