As the Head of Server Engineering, you would be leading a team of 10 backend & full stack engineers, setting technical direction, and ensuring the delivery of high-performance, scalable server solutions for mobile game projects.
Key responsibilities include: Overseeing server-side architecture, development, and maintenance. Guiding and mentoring a team of backend engineers. Collaborating with Client Leads and other technical leads. Continuously evaluating and adopting new technologies. Optimizing server performance to handle an expanding player base. Managing continuous integration and deployment (CICD) pipelines. Contributing to long-term strategic planning for the server department. The ideal candidate should have: Extensive experience in server-side development. Proven track record as a server lead on multiple mobile game projects. Proficiency in server technologies, cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), and backend frameworks. Strong understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and database management. Expertise in live operations and continuous deployment pipelines. A deep enthusiasm for gaming and innovation.
