The Opportunity We are recruiting for a brand new Head of Sales (UK and Ireland) to drive sales and margin goals for our Rapid Diagnostics – Infectious Disease division.
This role involves leading the regional commercial team and collaborating closely with the General Manager, Marketing, Medical, Commercial, and Customer Service teams.What You'll Do As a Head of Sales UKI, you will support the leadership team with the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans.
Key Responsibilities:Achieve Sales and Margin Goals: Lead the division to meet and exceed targets.Strategic Contribution: Shape and deliver divisional objectives.Budget Management: Oversee budgets effectively.Goal Setting: Cascade objectives and ensure team goals are met.Team Development: Recruit, coach, and develop the commercial team.Business Development: Secure contracts and identify new opportunities.Compliance: Ensure adherence to policies and industry standards.Relationship Building: Build positive relationships with key customers and stakeholders.KPI Monitoring: Track KPIs and ensure CRM utilization.Leadership: Lead sales conferences and contribute to executive meetings.This is a national field-based role with a lot of travelling anticipated (75%) within the UK and Ireland.Required qualifications/Profile Strong track record of successful National and/or Regional sales management experience.Ideally previous HQ experience in Marketing and/or other functionUnderstanding of regulatory, medical and contracting functionsMust have negotiating/ contracting ability/ experienceMust be a skilled presenterHigh computer literacyAdvanced experience with CRM systems (i.e.
