Job Title: Head of Sales Location: UK - Remote working Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Managing Director Department: Sales Role Overview: As the Head of Sales at Amber Labs, you will drive our growth strategy, focusing on expanding our client base and increasing revenue within the IT consultancy sector.
You will be responsible for managing the sales team, developing high-impact sales strategies, and building strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
This leadership role requires a visionary sales strategist with an in-depth understanding of IT services and consultancy solutions, along with a track record of achieving ambitious sales targets of 10 million per annum.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy Development & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's objectives and growth goals.
Identify and explore new markets and customer segments to expand the client base and drive revenue growth.
Set and manage annual and quarterly sales targets and revenue goals.
Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, ensuring team members achieve their individual and collective goals.
Recruit, train, and develop sales professionals to build a robust sales pipeline.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance within the team.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and clients within target industries.
Serve as a primary point of contact for major clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and service excellence.
Work closely with the client delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes and client retention.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances that align with the company's expertise in IT consultancy.
Conduct competitive analysis to ensure [Company Name] remains at the forefront of industry trends and client needs.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and lead generation.
Reporting & Performance Analysis: Track, analyze, and report on sales performance metrics, providing insights and actionable recommendations to executive leadership.
Utilize CRM and other sales tools to manage the sales pipeline and forecast revenue accurately.
Continuously monitor market trends and adjust strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
Proven experience (7-10 years) in a sales leadership role within the IT consultancy or technology services industry.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets.
Strong knowledge of IT consultancy services, technology solutions, and industry trends.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in CRM software and other sales tools; experience with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
