This is a specialist property and construction consultancy, providing expertise in architecture, surveying, building services engineering and strategic development across a wide range of projects. They work with both public and private sector clients and have a growing client base nationally.
The Opportunity
The Head of Safety & Risk Management will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the safety, health, and risk management strategy. You will lead the development, implementation, and execution of comprehensive plans focused on enhancing safety standards, minimizing risks, and ensuring continuous service improvement. As a key advisor, you'll influence strategic decisions and foster a culture of safety and risk awareness across the organization.
The Ideal Candidate
They are looking for candidates with experience in a similar role, as well as:
Chartered Membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH), or Certified Membership of the Institute of Risk Management (CMIRM), ideally with 5 years post qualification experienceBachelor's Degree or equivalent in an Occupational Health and Safety related disciplineHolds a current CSCS White Card or is prepared to immediately attainP405 Management of Asbestos in Buildings Qualification, or willing to work towardsRadiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) Qualification, or willing to work towardsNEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety (or equivalent) and Professional Membership of the Institute of Fire Engineers (or equivalent), or willing to work towardsLegionella Responsible Person / Duty Holder in Hot and Cold Water Systems City & Guilds (or equivalent), or willing to work towardsNEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction Certificate (or equivalent), or willing to work towardsWhat's in it for you?
