We work tirelessly to promote animal welfare, prevent cruelty, and build a compassionate community where every animal is valued and treated with kindness.
Our small, passionate team shares a big ambition: to create a better future for Devon's most vulnerable animals.
Now, we are currently seeking a Head of Retail to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis (37.5 hours per week).

The RoleAs Head of Retail, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and growth of our retail operations.
You will oversee the success and sustainability of our shops and trading functions while ensuring that we meet our objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the expansion and development of our retail operationsDeveloping business cases for new shop openingsDriving growth in our e-commerce initiativesCentralising lease management and ensuring smooth processesCollaborating on the introduction of a comprehensive retail and trading handbookEnsuring compliance with retail legislation, GDPR, and fundraising standardsContinuously evaluating and optimising retail systems, procedures, and brand standardsAbout YouTo thrive in this role, you should bring:
At least five years of proven retail experience with a successful track recordStrong experience managing retail and e-commerce KPIs and targetsFinancial acumen and the ability to interpret and create financial reportsA proven ability to lead and develop teams, promoting continuous professional growthKnowledge of Health & Safety, GDPR, and risk management regulationsApplication Deadline: Noon, Monday 27th January 2025.
