We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader for the role of Head of MRO-Repairs at AJW Group. This pivotal position will oversee all facets of our Maintenance, Repair, and Operations functions. The ideal candidate will excel in driving customer service, sales, and operational efficiency while ensuring regulatory compliance and maximizing profitability. Additionally, you will implement industry best practices across all MRO-Repair activities to enhance overall performance.
What you'll be doing Strategic Leadership and Management Develop and implement the overall MRO strategy aligned with organisational goals. Lead and manage the MRO department, providing direction, setting goals, and ensuring team performance. Collaborate with senior management to align MRO initiatives with business objectives. Operations and Process Optimisation Oversee all maintenance, repair, and operations activities to ensure optimal performance and efficiency to increase profitability and the number of customer repairs. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of MRO activities. Operations and Stakeholder Communication Scrutinise the pricing received from workshops to ensure cost-effectiveness, emphasising minimal costs for parts testing. Address and resolve any issues or conflicts related to MRO operations. Collaborate closely with AJWT for improved synergy and outcomes. About you Proven experience in a senior strategic MRO management role, preferably in aviation, manufacturing, or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems and best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and financial performance. Proficiency in using MRO-related software and technology. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. What's in it for you?
