National Grid are at the heart of the UK's energy transition, the leadership of our regulatory function plays a critical role in ensuring that we secure the right funding from Ofgem to deliver our planned investments.
As the Head of Regulatory Performance for National Grid Electricity Transmission you will have a strategic and commercial role in our leadership team.
You would be responsible for designing and implementing a new approach and mindset to how we think about implementing regulatory settlements, achieving high quality regulatory outcomes, and managing our reputation with Ofgem and other key regulatory stakeholders.
You and your team will play a key role as the voice of Ofgem in the organisation, playing a constructive critical friend role and helping National Grid to have an effective and influential voice with Ofgem and other important stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:Implement a new approach to monitoring and improving regulatory performance;Help the National Grid Electricity Transmission executive meet commercial objectives through delivering high quality regulatory outcomes;Provide expert advice to the business in understanding regulatory issues and requirements;Align our internal and external regulatory reporting processes;Deliver the annual RRP processes;Lead the thinking on future regulatory reporting processes;Run the RIIO-T2 close out process - ideally you will understand the RIIO-2 regulatory framework and transmission licence.Location: Warwick or London (hybrid)
Salary: We anticipate this to be in the region of £130,000 + executive benefits
