Connect Appointments have a unique opportunity for a Head of Quality & Safety to join our established client in Glasgow!
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the successful candidate will play a key role in the continuous development of our client's processes and products.
With emphasis on quality standards, you will lead quality-related activities including quality assurance, customer quality queries and processual improvements.
Schedule: Standard working hours, Monday to Friday Contract: 6 months with potential to be extended Working as Head of Quality & Safety: Developing and implementing quality strategies to ensure alignment with overall product standards and business objectives Identify areas of improvement and ensure smooth implementation of new processes Effectively managing and leading the Quality team Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislations, standards and accreditations (including AS9100, Rev D and Nadcap) Collaborating effectively with other departments and areas of the business To be considered for this Head of Quality & Safety role, the successful candidate must have: Excellent leadership skills Experience within aviation/aeronautics (essential) Strong communication skills in a variety of organisational contexts Relevant qualifications/degree in an engineering subject Previous experience within aerospace and precision machining, with a focus on quality Does this sound like the opportunity for you?
