This company is a market leader in their field and they are looking for a highly experienced Head of Purchasing with a background in Engineering including exposure to electronics components , to define and deliver the global supply chain strategy for the business, delivering maximum value to all stakeholders.
This will use a combination of your strategic, leadership and hands on skills.

With a great culture based in modern facilities within a lovely location just outside of Cambridge, you will be responsible for managing all procurement activities, playing a critical role in optimising costs, ensuring the timely delivery of products and service as well as building strong supplier relationships.

To complement this, you should also ideally be Degree qualified Have a professional qualification such as MCIPS Have strong Excel skills Have detailed Microsoft AX knowledge.
Due to the travel involved with this role, you need to have a full, clean, driving licence & your own car.
Travel expenses will be paid.
