What we're looking forVenatus is seeking a Head of Publisher Partnerships to be responsible for working across functions, developing strategies, processes, and communication to help drive Venatus' Publishers' success. This is a unique opportunity to join a company experiencing rapid growth and be an instrumental contributor to accelerating its market share.
The successful candidate will have an experienced understanding of publisher monetization strategies, expertise in marketplace and industry trends, and operational experience in building, developing, and managing Publisher partner management teams. As a key function in the company, there is huge scope to shape this role and become an integral part of the Venatus team.
ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the business development team to drive adoption and enable success for key strategic publishing partnersUnderstand our Publisher's business objectives and provide consultative, intelligent solutions that unlock revenue opportunitiesDevelop trusted partnerships with key influencers across Publisher Operations, Ad Operations, Sales and Leadership teams to develop strategy, process, and tactics that drive client resultsEstablish and achieve quarterly revenue goals and key operational resultsEnsure Publisher is aware of all Venatus initiatives and upsold new opportunitiesDeliver Key Account Plans for Publishers and Internal Reporting to measure performance and highlight risks and opportunitiesOversee negotiations in renewing contracts and ensuring Net Revenue RetentionCollaborate with Venatus' Operations, Publisher, Sales, and Marketing teams to create foundational processes and find opportunities for innovationTravel to client sites for regular strategic review meetingsManage a team - Currently 2 (1UK + 1PH)RequirementsMinimum of 2 years experience in an account management role with an understanding of ad tech preferably for a Publisher, AdExchange/Network, or ad tech providerBachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, or Sciences or a related discipline is preferred, however candidates who hold other degrees and also have relevant experience will be consideredUnderstanding of online advertising ecosystem, publisher monetization & market trendsOutstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionallyExperience product consulting and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiencesStrong customer service skills, comfortable working directly with clients and partners as well as internal departmentsProven track record of hitting aggressive goals in a highly competitive environmentUnderstanding and/or experience in digital advertisingAbility to work individually and collaboratively to drive business forwardComfortable taking ownership of projects and showcasing key accomplishmentsStrives for continued learning opportunities to build upon craftCRM experienceAdvanced MS Excel skillsAbility to work quickly and independently with minimal oversightSQL skills would be a plusDiversity, Equity and InclusionWe understand that the best ideas are born from the collaboration of diverse minds, spanning all races, religions, ethnicities, genders and orientations.
