About the role This is a senior leadership role at tranScrip, critical for advancing the company's strategic objectives resulting in an ambitious growth plan.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to build and lead a high-performing Project Management function, ensuring excellence in client project delivery while fostering strong internal partnerships that enhance commercial value.
Duties and responsibilities This role will be instrumental in positioning the Project Management function as a cornerstone of client project delivery, ensuring operational excellence, client satisfaction, and impactful contributions to the company's growth trajectory.
Leadership and Integration: Rapid integration, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Account Management, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
Collaboration and Growth: Play a key role in implementing the Client Account Team (CAT) model including ensuring the Project Management team actively contributes to identifying client account growth opportunities.
Work closely with Account Managers and SMEs to build highly collaborative partnerships that drive client retention and growth, expand services, and maximize commercial value.
Building a High-Performing Team: Establish and lead a top-tier Project Management team that ensures a "gold standard" in project delivery within the pharmaceutical consulting sector.
Operational Excellence: Oversee the development of processes that position Project Management as the foundation of operational excellence, enabling seamless project delivery and contributing to the company's vision of being the gold-standard specialty pharmaceutical consultancy.
Experience 10+ years of project management experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industries, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven experience in building, leading, and scaling project management teams in client-facing roles within a consultancy or similar environment.
Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical development process, including clinical, regulatory, and market access considerations.
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with senior stakeholders and influence without direct authority.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor teams and drive client satisfaction.
Experience with business development and account growth, including identifying and nurturing new business opportunities within existing client relationships.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira) and familiarity with agile methodologies.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business Management, or a related field; a project management certification is preferred.
