The Role 3t Digital offers B2B learning software and content to safety critical industries. As the Head of Product at 3t Digital, you will play the lead role in shaping the product strategy, vision, and execution for our product range. You will lead the product team, reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with engineering, design, sales, and customer success to deliver innovative solutions that meet market demands. The product team is currently comprised of a product manager, a product owner and a UX designer. The incumbents understand our customer processes well. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that our product continues to deliver value to customers while aligning with the company's growth strategy.
You'll need to be strategic, customer-centric, and capable of balancing short-term execution with long-term vision. This role offers the opportunity to have a direct impact on the company's direction and success while being deeply involved in hands-on product development.
Product Strategy and Vision:
Collaboratively define and drive the product strategy, aligning it with the company's overall business goals and growth objectives.Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for innovation.Create and communicate a clear product vision to all stakeholders, from team members to the 3t board.Own the roadmap, prioritisation and its executionProduct Development and Execution:
Work closely with the agile engineering teams to ensure alignment on what is being built, why and at what pace.Work closely with sales and managed services teams to better understand customer needs, feedback and ideasEnsure product development cycles are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.Implement efficient processes for product management, including backlog prioritization, feature development, and release planning.Customer-Centric Approach:
Lead the effort to gather and synthesize customer feedback and usage data to continuously improve the product.Collaborate with the sales and customer success teams to understand customer pain points, translate them into product requirements, and refine features.Create and manage a system whereby product features are tested with customers in order to improve design and impactAdvocate for the voice of the customer in all product decisions.Lead and mentor the product management team, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.Stakeholder Communication:
Present product updates, strategies, and results to the executive. board members and other stakeholders.Manage communication and expectations between the product team and other departments, including sales, marketing, operations and other group companies.Metrics and Performance:

Required Skills and Experience:
Experience: 8+ years of product management experience in a software company,preferably in a small to mid-size SaaS environment.Leadership: Proven experience in leading a product management team and drivingcross-functional collaboration.Product Development: Strong background in end-to-end product development,including requirements gathering, prototyping, user testing, and feature rollouts.Strategic Thinking: Ability to align product goals with business objectives and pivotquickly based on market changes.Customer Focus: A deep understanding of customer needs and experience intranslating them into successful product features.Technical Understanding: While not necessarily from a technical background, youshould have a solid understanding of software development principles and agilemethodologies.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability toarticulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.Problem Solving: Adept at navigating ambiguity, solving complex problems, andmaking decisions with incomplete information.Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills, with experience in using data to drive decisions,set priorities, and measure outcomes.Person Description:
