Head Of Procurement

Job Title: Head of Procurement Exciting opportunity to lead procurement efforts within our client's MSP business and drive impactful change.
In this role, reporting directly to the CFO, you will oversee the commercial and strategic management of key vendors, telecom suppliers, and essential application providers.
Overview: £60-80K annual salary subject to experience + 20% bonus ? 25 days holiday increasing with length of service + bank holidays Hybrid - West Midlands (frequent meetings with vendors is essential) Enhanced family friendly leave and pay ? Life Assurance Objectives: Drive cost savings by negotiating better terms with suppliers Maximise supplier discounts, rebates & incentives Continuously improve existing relationships with vendors through regular contact Ensure suppliers adhere to SLA's and mitigate risks Develop new supplier relations when required Build out (and manage) a procurement team function within the business Skills & Experience: Professional Procurement qualification Procurement experience ideally within Telecoms or Networking Previous experience working in a fast paced SME IT Service Provider environment Proven experience managing IT tech vendors and relationships Excellent relationship-building and communication skills Self motivated, enthusiastic & high energy Confident in challenging the status quo Example Partners: Strategic Vendors: Cisco, Extreme, Forescout, Fortinet Telco Carriers: BT, Virgin, Openreach Critical Applications: Oracle Netsuite, SolarWinds, ServiceNow Onboarding new vendors where appropriate Location: Hybrid: 3x days per week in West Midlands.
