Reporting to our Director of Asset Operations, our Head of Planned Works will lead and manage the Planned Works Team in delivering high-quality, cost-effective, and compliant planned preventive maintenance, capital component replacement, and retrofit works.
In addition, we are looking for candidates that have a passion to advocate on behalf of people and communities.What will our Head of Planned Works do; Strategic Leadership and Impact: Lead the development and execution of asset management strategies and Influence key decisions across the organisation that shape the direction of large-scale capital works and retrofit projects.Programme Delivery: Oversee the effective delivery of capital component replacement programmes, energy efficiency and retrofit programmes ensuring they're delivered on time and within budget.Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure strategic alignment and efficient, customer focussed programme delivery.Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Implement robust performance management processes, using KPIs and metrics to measure success.Leadership & Management: Provide leadership, performance management support, motivation and coaching to reporting team members to ensure that performance is high and supports personal development and growth, colleagues develop their responsibility, experience, knowledge and expertise.What we are looking for; Professional qualification in a housing/construction specialismExperience in a senior or lead role in planned works related services.Significant experience managing large-scale planned works and retrofit programmes, including capital component replacement.Demonstrable experience managing multi-million-pound budgets (£15m–£20m) and ensuring VfM.Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including CDM regulations, building standards, and funding scheme compliance.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Full driving licence and willing to travel across the NorthwestWe offer a range of great benefits including:Essential car user allowance to support you with car running costsFlexibility on where you work with home working kit provided33 days holiday per year plus bank holidays, and a holiday a buy scheme.
