Head of Operations - UK & EMEA Location: UK-Based, with Regional TravelAre you ready to lead and transform supply chain operations across the UK and EMEA?
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Supply Chain to take the helm and drive operational excellence, sustainability, and growth for a forward-thinking, multinational organisation.About the Role: As the Head of Supply Chain, you will oversee logistics, procurement, inventory, demand planning, and supplier relationships.
Reporting directly to the Global Operations Director, you will play a pivotal role in aligning supply chain strategies with overarching business goals and market demands.Key Responsibilities: Strategic LeadershipDevelop and deliver a comprehensive supply chain strategy for the UK & EMEA regions.Lead initiatives to optimise efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.Procurement & Supplier ManagementBuild and maintain robust supplier relationships across the region.Negotiate contracts to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.Logistics & DistributionManage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.Ensure compliance with regional customs and trade regulations.Inventory & Demand PlanningDrive accurate demand forecasting and inventory optimisation.Implement advanced tools and technologies to streamline planning.Team LeadershipBuild, mentor, and lead a high-performing supply chain team.Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.Compliance & SustainabilityEnsure adherence to local and international regulations.Integrate sustainability practices into supply chain operations.What We're Looking For: Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent).10 years of experience in supply chain leadership roles, ideally within UK & EMEA markets.Proven expertise in ERP systems and supply chain digital transformation.Skills & ExpertiseExceptional analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.Expertise in supplier management, contract negotiation, and compliance.Knowledge of customs regulations and trade compliance.
