About the Role At INSPHERE, our Head of Operations will play a vital role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our day-to-day operations while helping us scale for future growth.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll oversee critical functions including Supplier Management, Stock Control, Production, Calibration, and Installation.
You'll be responsible for leading a talented team, collaborating across departments, and ensuring our operations run seamlessly to meet key business objectives.
Key Responsibilities Operational Management Delivering key business objectives and KPIs.
Planning, scheduling, and resourcing site activities, including installations, trials, and other projects.
Managing the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Keeping operational activities on track with accurate and up-to-date records.
Leadership & Team Management Leading the Operations Team by setting clear priorities, allocating tasks, and ensuring high performance.
Ensuring strong communication within the team and across the business.
Managing a team of mechanical engineers, ensuring smooth integration of their work with overall operations.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Building strong relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction, and resolving issues effectively.
Reporting on progress, challenges, and updates during OKR and board meetings.
Safety & Compliance Maintaining safety as a priority across all operational activities.
Overseeing equipment maintenance and calibration in collaboration with the Production Manager.
Strategic Input Helping to shape and execute our operational strategy, particularly as we expand into the US.
Developing scalable processes to support business growth.
Ensuring adaptability to meet evolving business needs and market demands.
What We're Looking For We're seeking an experienced leader with a proven track record in managing operations within a manufacturing environment.
You'll need:
Strong planning, scheduling, and resource management skills.
Expertise in quality management systems and compliance standards.
Experience managing mechanical engineering teams and understanding how their work integrates into wider operations.
