THE ROLE We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Media Sales to lead and grow our media sales team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing a media sales strategy that drives revenue growth through our core native digital offering, sponsored and creative content, and other media solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media sales and a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships, with automotive industry experience or understanding a bonus.
WHAT YOU'LL DO Sales Strategy and Leadership:
Develop and implement a comprehensive media sales strategy that aligns with our wider growth goals and market positioningLead, manage, and inspire a team of media sales professionals, paving the way for their future development and growthIdentify and capitalise on new business opportunities within the automotive sector, expanding the client base and increasing market shareClient Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and agenciesUnderstand clients' marketing needs and develop tailored media solutions that deliver value and drive resultsAct as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations to optimise clients' advertising strategiesRevenue Growth and Performance:
Drive media sales revenue by both securing new business and continuing to drive growth in existing accountsMonitor and analyse sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring the team meets or exceeds revenue goalsCollaborate directly with our finance and commercial leadership teams to forecast revenue and set realistic targetsProduct and Market Development:
Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to develop and refine media products that meet market demand and client needsStay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to ensure our media solutions remain competitive and innovativeProvide feedback to the product development team to improve existing products and identify opportunities for new offeringsTeam Management and Development:
