A thriving secondary school in Dorking is seeking a dynamic and motivated Head of Maths to lead our dedicated team.
Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Maths department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures.
Monitor student progress and implement strategies for improvement.
Support and mentor staff within the department.
Engage with parents and the wider community to promote the Maths department.
Minimum Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Mathematics or related field.
Proven experience in a teaching role, with leadership experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
