Evogro makes Plant Growing Systems for Chefs.
We make it easy for people to grow their own perfect microgreens, salad leaves and herbs.
Our system combines internet-connected growing cabinets with intelligent software services so our customers can get great, consistent results with a minimum of time and effort.
By growing plants right in the kitchen, they can be snipped just when needed so they are absolutely fresh and full of flavour.
Evogro repeat customers include Michelin starred restaurants, five star hotels, bars, private clubs, cruise ships, major catering companies and affluent households.
Although mainly in the UK we also have customers in mainland Europe, the Middle East, the Far East and Australasia.
We're ahead of our growth targets YTD and our current investors are signed up for a new round of funding.
We are now entering a phase of rapid expansion and need a commercially savvy marketer to support that growth in B2B and build out our early success in luxury B2C.
About the role We have a strong, growing, referenceable customer base among leading UK Professional Chefs and recently started to market this via our Chef Spotlight series on our YouTube channel.
Also, without doing any marketing at all, we've started receiving orders from high net worth individuals for their homes and yachts.
We want to develop both markets: Professional & Luxury Consumer in parallel.
This is a chance to build a modern marketing and commercial function from the ground up and will suit someone that can move between setting the direction and jumping into the detail to ensure our execution is on track.
The role is suitable for someone comfortable with a start-up environment, and excited by the autonomy of collaborating with the founder, our existing video marketer, and importantly our sales team.
This is a chance to join a disruptive startup in the luxury hospitality space and will suit someone keen to own the creative direction, digital and brand marketing.
About you - You have a strong understanding of building hospitality or premium/luxury brands - You have worked in 100%++ YoY growth businesses, ideally seed or series A - You're data driven, can evidence driving MQLs and lead full funnel activities - You can steer our branding/positioning in the market and dive into copywriting too - You know how to prioritise initiatives and allocate resources, with start-up marketing - budgets in mind - You're experienced with digital as well as more traditional forms of marketing, and can run experiments to prioritise our growth channels.
