Born in Cardiff in 2007, but now with offices across the UK, USA and Middle East; the Group is a mixture of 16-year-old businesses and start-up brands, servicing SME & enterprise clients.
Due to planned rapid expansion, a brand new role for a creative and driven full-stack Head of Marketing/Marketing Director to come into the business and help shape the next stage of growth is required - reporting into the Chief Revenue Officer (who comes from a marketing background).
This role will be responsible for the entire marketing function in a complex group, with a diverse collection of brands at different levels of maturity.
The department is at the beginning of its new stage of growth; so will require someone who can think strategically but predominantly still be hands-on in the medium term.
There will broader support within the Revenue department, of which this would sit, from an early-stage RevOps, Technology & Data function.
This is a hybrid role, plus occasional travel to other offices in the UK, New York & Dubai.
The ideal candidate will be based in Bristol or Cardiff, but we consider those based in London.
Purpose of the Role - Build & execute a marketing strategy for multiple brands - Establish the next stage of the marketing function, within the wider Revenue department - Support the growth of the Group, including established and start-up brands - Enable & optimise revenue generation through marketing activity Required Skills & Experience - Expert in digital marketing, strong in events, content and community - Worked in a multi-brand group, or a business with multiple different audiences - Has built/developed brands for technical or complex markets (technology, legal etc) - Marketed to enterprise-level organisations - Worked in a start up-like environment, or in a rapidly-growing business - Built or led a multi-functional marketing team from the ground up Ideal person - Success with ABM-led strategies - Built an inbound revenue engine from scratch - Wants to work in a growing business, where it isn't all figured out - Comfortable with strategic prioritisation, and zoning out the noise to work on what really matters - Able to clearly articulate a vision - Enjoys high levels of responsibility, accountability - Demonstrated entrepreneurial flair
