Job Description The Head of Manufacturing Operations will report into the Operations Director and forms a critical part of the site leadership team. They will:
Manage and oversee all aspects of the manufacturing operation, responsible for c.500 colleaguesIdentify areas for improvement and implement efficient and cost-effective solutionsCollaborate with other department heads to align processes and strategiesLead a team of professionals, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvementManage departmental budgetsMonitor performance metrics and implement necessary corrective actionsManage relationships with key operational vendors and service providersContinually develop team to create high performance culture The Successful Applicant The successful Head of Manufacturing Operations will possess a range of the following:
Significant experience in a leadership role within the FMCG industry (ideally food or food related sector)Strong knowledge of production management principles and best practicesAbility to manage effectively through direct reporting lineProven track record of managing large teams and high levels of SKUsExcellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and leadership skillsStrong people leader with a hands on approachHigh level communicator with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisationHighly ambitious and self-motivated What's on Offer A competitive salary of between £90,000 - £100,000 per annumComprehensive benefits package including a 15% bonus, private healthcare, and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysOpportunity to lead a dedicated team of professionals in a leading FMCG companyAn inclusive and supportive company culture that values employee development
