About the Department The Estates Department at Goldsmiths University is responsible for managing the university's 16-acre campus, encompassing 80 buildings. It oversees strategic estate planning, maintenance, capital projects, and essential services such as security and environmental management, ensuring the effective, safe, and sustainable operation of the institution's facilities.
About the Role The role holder is expected to lead and manage all maintenance operations, ensuring safety, sustainability, and operational efficiency. They will oversee teams, develop maintenance strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and promote a culture of excellence while supporting the university's goals and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
About the Candidate The ideal candidate will have proven leadership in maintenance management, expertise in building systems, strong problem-solving skills, and experience in driving sustainability and regulatory compliance.
