Job Title: Head of International Sales – Access Control Systems Company: Leading Global Security Manufacturer Location: Remote with extensive international travel Salary: £100,000+ base salary, plus approximately £20,000 commission (flexibility for exceptional candidates) Travel Requirement: High; frequent international travel required Reports to: Divisional Director Company Overview: A leading global manufacturer in electronic security systems, specialising in Access Control , door entry, CCTV, and home automation solutions.

Position Overview: As the Head of International Sales for Access Control Systems , you will drive global growth and market expansion for the Access Control product line through a strategic route-to-market approach.
Targeting installation and distribution companies worldwide, this role blends leadership and hands-on sales activities, requiring expertise in solution selling and access control.
You will lead and develop an international sales team, build and strengthen global channel partnerships, and execute a global sales strategy in collaboration with the Divisional Director.
This is a highly visible, impactful role within a forward-thinking organisation.
Key Responsibilities: 1.
Strategic Sales Development and Execution Lead the global sales strategy for Access Control systems, aligning with corporate objectives.
Develop and implement a route-to-market strategy, creating demand among stakeholders and specifiers while building aligned channels for fulfilment.
Collaborate with the Divisional Director to set and achieve international sales targets, prioritising high-potential regions.
2. Business Development and Market Expansion Identify and secure international business opportunities through solution-oriented sales targeting stakeholders and specifiers across vertical markets.
Build long-term relationships with key clients, consultants, and partners to maximise market share and strengthen the brand.
Specify Access Control products for major projects and vertical markets to enhance brand visibility.

Channel Partner Engagement and Support Develop and maintain strong relationships with installation and distribution partners globally, ensuring they are equipped to promote Access Control solutions effectively.
Provide product training and act as a primary point of contact for strategic partners, addressing challenges proactively.

Sales Team Leadership and Development Coach, mentor, and manage the international sales team, driving high performance through regular reviews, KPI setting, and development plans.
Foster a culture of accountability, solution focus, and proactive problem-solving within the team.
5.
Market and Competitor Analysis Stay ahead of competitor activity, market trends, and industry innovations to ensure competitive offerings.
Provide actionable insights to the product management team to guide development and enhancements.
6.
Performance Tracking and CRM Management Define and monitor international sales KPIs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Deliver performance reports and market insights to senior management.
Ensure CRM data accuracy to support informed decision-making.
Essential Qualifications and Experience: Proven success in solution-based sales within the Access Control industry, focusing on winning projects through global value-added resellers (VARs).
Deep understanding of the Access Control market and experience in developing sales strategies that drive significant revenue growth.
Demonstrated ability to coach, manage, and inspire sales teams toward high performance.
Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate diverse cultures and regions.
Self-motivated with a willingness to undertake frequent international travel.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to interpret market data effectively.
Desired Skills and Attributes: Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to building strong, lasting relationships.
Organisational skills to manage multiple projects across time zones.
Proficiency in CRM systems for tracking sales and customer interactions.
