They are looking for an innovative and people-centric Head of IT to lead the charge in enhancing their internal IT services and creating a seamless tech experience for colleagues.
This role requires a strategic mindset with hands-on expertise, focusing on colleague technology, self-service options, and hybrid work support.
As Head of IT , you'll be based in Manchester, working closely with the colleague technology team to implement and optimise solutions that empower employees, ensure efficient operations, and support a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities: Lead Technology & Culture Initiatives : Oversee all workplace technology solutions (e.g., M365, Slack, Google Workspace), driving innovation and improving colleague interactions with tech.
Support and Manage the Helpdesk : Lead a team of 4, focusing on proactive support and evolving helpdesk operations to better serve in-office and remote employees.
Enhance Meeting Room & Remote Work Tools : Ensure meeting spaces and hybrid work technology are efficient and meet evolving workplace needs.
Optimise Systems for Internal Teams : Streamline systems and services used across departments, particularly focusing on enhancing Slack for effective communication.
What You'll Bring: Tech Proficiency : Strong expertise with M365, Slack, and Google Workspace, ideally with experience building extensions and applications tailored to user needs.
Strategic Vision and Leadership : Proven experience leading digital workplace initiatives, particularly in a hybrid work environment, with a focus on innovation and automation.
