The role reports to the Chief Architect and will have a primary focus on the following: Strategy - Maintain and develop the information security strategy.
The Ideal candidate will have a methodical way of working to carry out risk assessments and security audits, to develop a roadmap of security changes.
Delivery – the candidate will be able to motivate their team together with related internal and external engineers.
To make sure the security roadmap is correctly implemented and maintained.
Team management/Leadership – a small group of security engineers will need guidance, mentorship and performance evaluation as we grow the team to support the future business.
The successful candidate will have experience of creating a collaborative and co-operative work ethic amongst teams, fostering collaboration with multiple parties to maintain a productive environment.
Resource allocation/Budgeting – collaborating with our delivery team to plan and allocate personnel, hardware, software and services, to ensure cost-effectiveness of the information security budget Who you are: Experience in a similar role, managing and growing high-performing teams and learning from your failures.
The ability to lead and make decisions to push forward.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills allow you to effectively present ideas, influence stakeholders and build relationships.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical challenges and make data-driven decisions.
Understanding of relevant compliance for retail technology which is distributed worldwide.
