Head Of Housing

Connect2Luton are excited to recruit a Head of Housing on behalf of Luton Borough Council.
Main purpose of position: To be responsible for the effective delivery of a high-quality housing management services to the council's tenants and leaseholders.
Maintain and improve the quality of life for residents living on the council's housing estates, other public sector housing and in the private sector.
To manage the council's temporary accommodation portfolio to maximise income and enhance prevention and move-on to alternative accommodation.
To ensure that housing, leasehold and temporary accommodation services achieve best value and are delivered within budget.
Contribute to the strategic and operational management and leadership of the Housing Division and the setting and achievement of its aims and objectives.
