DetailJob Title: Head of History Hours of Work: Full time Reports to: Deputy Head Academic The Headmaster and CEO of Eltham College family of Schools is seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly professional Head of History. The position of Head of History involves responsibility for the delivery of the teaching of History, which is currently taught in the Lower School as a core subject, and as an optional subject at GCSE and A-level.
The successful candidate will have the ability to inspire others and lead by example, supporting the school to meet its aims with students, teachers and parents. They should be identified as an outstanding classroom teacher with the ability to teach across the age range from Year 7 to Year 13 and have a genuine interest in their subject along with a strong commitment to high academic standards.
