Head of Health & Safety – Rail Infrastructure Salary: £80,000 plus competitive package
Location: Wiltshire / London / Berkshire

We are currently seeking a Head of Health & Safety to work for a main contractor in London and along the M4 Corridor.
This role will oversee a number of large civil engineering projects, specifically within the Rail sector.
Please note that CMIOSH is a pre-requisite and candidates without it cannot be considered as this is a key requirement. Essential: Chartered H&S professional (CMIOSH)In-depth knowledge of Rail HS&E requirements.Experienced leading HS&E within Rail construction environmentExperienced leading HS&E in major multi-discipline construction projectsExperienced in accident/incident investigation and determining root causesThorough knowledge of H&S and Environmental statutory legislation and how to implement themIIRCA certified internal auditor (HS&E)Thorough knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001Able to work collaboratively with the company teams, clients, stakeholders/interested parties, and supply chain.Knowledge of the CDM regulationAble to lead the HS&E teams in a challenging environmentAble to communicate effectively at all levelsAble to deliver HS&E training to employees and subcontractors Desirable: NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental ManagementIRCA certified lead auditor (HS&E)Computer literateKnowledge of the TfL QUENSH condition/requirementsExperienced in high-risk construction environments e.g.
