A global player working across 6 countries is looking for their next key hire to the group, a Head of Grid Connections.
This market is rapidly changing in the UK at the moment, so this is a crucial addition to the team, playing a key part of operations.
They boast an impressive track record, operating across 6 countries with over 200 projects of solar, wind and BESS amounting to a portfolio of over 6MW in various development and construction stages.
This successful portfolio is accredited to their wide responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle.
As they're an IPP, they work on early-stage origination and development, through operation stages and into supplying the energy.
This means they have multiple revenue streams available as well as expertise in house at every stage.
They have a simple mission as a group, that's felt throughout the whole organization.
Their aim is to provide renewable energy for future generations through renewable energy projects globally.
To achieve this mission, they need this crucial addition to their UK development team.
You'd be working alongside their Development Director, overseeing all responsibilities grid related to ensure projects are able to progress in an efficient way.
Main Responsibilities: Monitoring grid connection reforms and changes to grid connection process as well as communicating these to the wider development team.
Liaise with National Grid and DNOs for grid connection agreements.
Understanding grid policies and attending industry events.
Working on a technical nature for projects, gaining grid connections and ensuring projects reach grid milestones.
Maintaining and establishing relationships with industry bodies and system operators.
