The Head of Fleet is a vital link in the future success of the Polestar brand in the UK.
Polestar will continue to expand with new models in the years to come.
This together with the transition to a non-genuine agency model will continue to accelerate our progress as a leader in the automotive industry.
Polestar is looking for a dynamic leader with strong commercial experience to turn that experience into a thriving, fast-paced sales team.
This position could be field based, with expectations to be at the Bicester office 2 days a week, along with travel to meet with partners in the market.
The Responsibilities This role exists to offer strategic direction for all Polestar UK fleet activities while creating an environment that inspires a high-performance culture; Deliver the Polestar UK corporate team sales objectives by effectively leading the UK fleet team in enhancing all sales channels to deliver a sustainable sales growth ambition.
Manage and create the go to market fleet offers and sales campaigns to support our retailer partners in achieving their sales ambitions.
Collaborate with investors to seek feedback and our financial service partners to ensure an industry leading premium product is offered.
Coach, lead and develop the key account manager team on activity-based territory plans, creating empowerment, ownership and accountability.
Act as a senior lead in managing the relationships of our major daily rental partners, data providers, Motability UK and leasing companies to ensure Polestar UK volume aspirations are achieved.
Amplify through the business centre operation the ability to create and convert leads from test drive through to sales conversion.
Support Operations in achieving the plan for all internal fleets; orders, registrations, wholesales.
Take responsibility in leading negotiations and managing the performance of external fleet suppliers whilst controlling a multi-million pound budget.
The Ideal Candidate We're seeking a purpose driven leader with a strong desire to deliver market leading solutions in the automotive sector.
You will have the situational adaptability in an environment with shifting demands of different situations.
This role requires an entrepreneur's mentality combined with excellent stakeholder management skills.
You will be able to communicate and negotiate at the most senior of levels.
We believe to be successful in this position you should have strong familiarity with fleet sales in an automotive environment.
You can lead/work in a multi-skilled diverse team and have an agile attitude toward getting the job done.
You will need to thrive under pressure and display a resilient and positive outlook in what can be a highly pressurised environment.
You have experience of working with and/or having implemented, a non-genuine agency model for sale of cars to fleet and business customers.
Experience of working in an order to delivery environment and knowledge of the constraints it puts on sales in the month, for the month.
Extensive contacts within the Fleet and Business sales environment at lease company, major daily rental, Motability operations, public sector and large corporate end user level.
Experience of RV management to include the mechanisms and relationships to position Polestar products at a premium level.

You are hands on, hardworking, and a demonstrated leader who puts their expertise to work.
Extensive knowledge of sales programs in traditional, digital and social landscapes.
Project management skills: ability to effectively manage many tasks simultaneously.
