Head of FP&A PE-Backed Professional Services Remote - Occasional travel (expensed) across UK.
£100,000 + Bonus + Benefits Stanton House is working with a PE-backed professional services business who are looking for a Head of FP&A to join their team and report directly to the CFO.
With a plan to exit over the coming years, the CFO needs a commercially astute number 2 to drive this function.
Operating across multiple jurisdictions, the company is currently experiencing a significant growth phase.
This role will play a key part in driving financial integration and performance as the business continues its expansion through acquisitions.
This role will be largely remote, with occasional travel (once or twice a month) to the head office in the UK.
The Role: Build the FP&A function from the ground up, including implementing financial systems and designing reporting frameworks.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to align with the company's strategic objectives and growth plans.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop the datacube, preparing the business for exit readiness.
Oversee financial integration post-acquisition, ensuring all reporting is cohesive.
Develop financial models to support growth, refinancing, and M&A decision-making at the senior management level.
Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership, driving performance and growth.
Establish and monitor KPIs to track business performance against financial targets.
About you: Proven experience in establishing or restructuring FP&A functions in multi-entity or international environments.
Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with exposure to M&A and private equity.
Familiarity with recurring model businesses, particularly in service or timesheet-based industries.
Expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and post-acquisition integration.
Ability to provide strategic insights and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
Qualifications and Skills ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified.
3+ years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, or a related field.
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with proven experience in building a datacube.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
