Head Of Finance - Law Firm

Our client is a modern and innovative law firm offering high quality legal advice.
They have built an excellent reputation across their key market sectors which include Commercial and Residential Property, Planning, Family Law, Private Client, Corporate and Commercial.
There is flexible working requiring 1 to 2 days in the office.
Parking on site.
The role is responsible for overseeing all financial activities across the firm, including accounting, reporting, payments, reconciliations, budgeting, payroll and forecasting.
It is the number one finance role reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.
We are ideally looking for the Head of Finance to have direct legal sector experience and knowledge of Solicitor Accounts Regulations.
This is a newly created role due to growth, bringing the accounts in house and the appointed candidate will build a successful team around them and will play a key role in the growth of the firm.
The role will include; Preparing monthly management reports Managing Audit process - SRA / Companies House Budgeting / forecasting / cash flow management Month-end reporting - Billings/Aged Debtors/Payments/Receipts Monthly bank reconciliations and ledger management Managing client accounts in line with Solicitor Accounts Rules Processing VAT returns Billings & Payments Management of Payroll and Pensions This is great opportunity to progress with a modern and forward thinking law firm.
