Job Purpose:To ensure the smooth running of the company's finances by managing gains and expenditures. Group Head of Finance responsibilities include keeping detailed records and identifying solutions to problems in financial processes, coaching, directing, and structuring financial team members and projects for best efficiency, ensuring all accounting activities comply with regulations.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience crafting financial strategies and managing accounting teams to maintain our company's health and increase profitability.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Manage all day to day financial aspects of the companyCollaborate with other department heads on all financial mattersManage cash control and treasuryManage short term cash forecastingManage Group accounting, including monthly close process, board reporting, annual statutory accounts, and annual auditsManage VAT and other statutory taxesLiaison with external stakeholders as required, e.g. bank, audit & private equity stakeholdersManage the financial team including coaching and developing employeesPartner and lead closely with Head of FP&AEnsure impeccable and detailed financial records; oversee that taxes and record filing are done correctly and to government standardResponsible for payroll, pensions, company insurances etc.Be prepared to make presentations of financial information to colleagues, operational and senior management, and possibly board members.Liaise with the CFO on all mattersThe above is not an exhaustive list of duties. It is expected the role will grow in scope as the business moves into increased use of regulated products.
