A leading legal firm is looking for an experienced Head of Family Law to establish and lead a new Family Law Division.
This is a unique opportunity to shape a department from the ground up, provide expert legal services, and drive growth within a supportive and high-achieving environment, in either the Cardiff or Bristol officeKey Responsibilities: Build and lead a new Family Law team, creating a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Provide expert legal advice on divorce, child custody, financial settlements, and domestic violence matters.
Develop strategies to enhance service offerings and expand the client base.
Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
Keep up-to-date with changes in family law legislation and best practices.
Mentor junior staff and promote professional development within the team.
Manage departmental budgets to align with financial targets.
Key Requirements: Qualified solicitor with substantial experience in family law.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proven track record in client relationship management and business development.
Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and empathy.
Experience with mediation and collaborative law practices is a plus.


Nominal Salary: To be agreed
