Head of Events - London - 50k plus bonus My client is a leading contract caterer and they are currently recruiting for a Head of Events for one of their flagship venues in London. As Head of Events, your main focuses will be the following: Manage an events team of 4 including 2 Event Managers, 1 Event Supervisor and an Event Head ChefLiaising with the client of the venue continuously looking to grow the relationship at all timesTo operationally and strategically lead on large eventsTo manage catering logistics including event file handling, event briefing sheet and service plansTo manage orders of equipment, beverages and staffingTo ensure all enquiries and client feedback are managed professionally and in a timely mannerTo continuously work towards improving sales and serviceProvide appropriate guidance and support to all direct reportsLeading and motivating the team through ongoing evaluations, listening, training and mentoringFinancial and budget management including forecasting, cost control and forward planningFor this Head of Events role, I am looking for a candidate who has:
Event Management experience within either contract catering, event catering, hotels or venuesExperience of managing large eventsUnderstanding of how to coordinate, plan and deliver an eventExceptional attention to detailTop level client account management skillsThe desire to grow with an exciting, forward thinking companyAll candidates applying for this Head of Events role must have been in a similar position within the hospitality sector in the past year.
