To be considered, suitable candidates will need to meet the following criteria: A degree in English or a relevant subject area.
Proven experience of teaching GCSE English (essential).
Teaching qualifications (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, DTLLS) or a willingness to work towards them with support.
A good basic general education, including GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C or above.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with students effectively.
Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN) is advantageous.
Ability to work as part of a team and use IT effectively in the classroom.
