Elevation Recruitment Group is excited to partner with a leading manufacturer in Wakefield to recruit a Head of Engineering. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to oversee all engineering operations, implement efficient processes, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities of the Head of Engineering will include:
Lead and manage a skilled maintenance teamDeliver and oversee projects, including machinery installations and process modificationsEnsure effective routine and breakdown maintenance operationsCoordinate and manage regular and ad hoc engineering contractors and sub-contractorsOversee the management and optimisation of engineering spares inventoryPlan, organise, and report progress on engineering initiativesWe are keen to speak with Heads of Engineering / Engineering Managers with the following qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical / Electrical EngineeringNEBOSH National General CertificateDemonstrated experience in an engineering leadership role within a manufacturing environment.Ideally, a background in textiles or plastics manufacturing.Proven track record in project management, particularly machinery installations and process improvements.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving organisation where your expertise and leadership will directly influence the company's success.
