Head Of Engineering

Copello are working with an established and progressive Defence Business to recruit for a Head of Engineering.

This role comes with an expansive opportunity for the Head of Engineering to advance their career within the business and in time to a more senior position.

With a management focus across a high performing Engineering team you will be responsible for driving improvement whilst ensuring technology development is in line with the future capability requirements.

The Head of Engineering will manage an agreed Engineering budget and have a team of 20-50 reports.
You will have full autonomy with the resourcing and recruitment for the discipline including the management for contingent resourcing.

Suitable candidates will have proven experience of leading a successful Engineering team with evidence of improvement, development of the team and strong managerial skills.

Candidates will ideally be educated to Degree level or equivalent with experience of working in a Defence or Aerospace background as an advantage.
