THE ROLE
As Head of Engineering, you will take charge of the design and fabrication teams, driving operational excellence and fostering innovation.
This is a pivotal role, where you will:
Lead and mentor a team of engineers and production specialists, developing their skills and aligning them with business goals.
Implement strategies to improve design workflows, enhance fabrication efficiency, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Oversee project delivery , ensuring that design concepts are seamlessly translated into high-quality finished products.
Introduce new technologies and processes , staying ahead of industry trends and maintaining the company's competitive edge.
Collaborate with senior leadership , aligning engineering objectives with the wider business strategy.
THE CANDIDATE
We are seeking a forward-thinking engineering leader with a strong background in manufacturing high-performance fabricated products.
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience within an engineering manufacturing environment, ideally involving fabrication, casting, or precision engineering.
Demonstrable leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing technical teams.
A strategic mindset, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
Expertise in delivering complex projects from concept to completion.
A relevant engineering qualification and a solid understanding of design and manufacturing processes.
THE PACKAGE Salary up to £70,000, plus benefits.
