Role purpose: To lead on the development of a long-term engagement and delivery approach for CITB, aligned with stakeholder direction, with the specific purpose of addressing the industry's changing skills needs through CITB's strategic plan.
Develop and manage senior-level relationships both internally and with industry and regional government and stakeholders to ensure effective value creation for construction in the regions.Lead and direct the Engagement and Delivery teams in England, Scotland or Wales to ensure that a) employers are aware of and engaged with CITB's products and services and b) that employers achieve value from their levy.Lead on bringing industry voice into CITB, effectively influencing the strategic planning and decision-making process.Key responsibilities and accountabilities:1.
Support the development of a long-term engagement plan to ensure the engagement directorate is effectively delivering the engagement objectives of CITB and its customers.

Lead and direct the England, Scotland or Wales engagement and delivery teams to successfully engage employers in CITB products and services.3.
Manage senior level relationships with Tier 1 contractors.4.
Manage senior level / C Suite relationships with prescribed organisations5.
Act as a sponsor for the Nation Councils, deputising for the Engagement Director as appropriate6.
Increase customer satisfaction measures through supportive engagement with a wide range of industry employers.7.
Establish and manage strategic relationships with senior-level industry stakeholders to identify and influence construction industry skills initiatives ensuring they meet CITB and employer objectives.

Support the New Entrant training team / Apprenticeships Task Force in increasing the availability of opportunities available to new entrants to the industry9.
Work with the CITB Executive and Senior Leadership Team to develop a coordinated approach to industry engagement across CITB to ensure all engagement activity aligns to the CITB Purpose and Business Plan.10.
Financial management responsibilities including resource allocation and deployment11.
Ensure operational performance of engagement team meets agreed business plan KPIs through management and leadership of the Engagement team in respective area.
