As the Head of Electronic Engineering, you'll be tasked with steering a talented team of engineers towards ground-breaking achievements.
You'll have no more than 10 direct reports with a multi-disciplinary team who have a good team culture that values innovation, excellence, and personal growth, meaning you'll be able to focus on the people and project management side of the job.
Some change management will still be required.
In this pivotal role, you'll utilise your previous experience as a specialist in an area of engineering covering either RF, Electronics, or Embedded Software, coupled with at least 5 years of management experience, to drive the strategic direction of the engineering efforts moving forward.
Your primary responsibilities will include: Leading and motivating a team of 8 RF & Electronic Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Overseeing project management processes, from inception to delivery, while adhering to strict time and budget constraints.
Championing innovation and new product development initiatives, guiding projects from concept to market launch.
Maintaining robust budgetary oversight, setting and managing budgets to optimize resource allocation.
Base salary for this position is up to £90,000, with a bonus typically ranging from 5-10%, an allocated Car Allowance, 25 days of holiday (increasing over time), life assurance, hybrid working, full sick pay (should the worst happen), and more.
