Title: Head of Ecommerce Salary: Up to £100,000 Bonus and Benefits Location: Manchester - Hybrid Sector: Beauty We have an exciting opportunity to join an extremely successful beauty brand who is completely organic to date and a record-breaking brand.
As a Founder led business, they have done an amazing job over the last few years and are now looking to take things to the next level.
The new Head of Ecommerce will be joining a team to support with the structural guidance, build out and overall strategy moving forwards.
As a DTC brand, they are industry leading and this role will be vital to bolster their eCommerce sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Create and implement a comprehensive eCommerce strategy that drives traffic, increases conversion rates, and maximizes customer lifetime value.
Lead the development and execution of SEO strategies to enhance organic search visibility, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link-building initiatives.
Also support with PPC initiatives.
Initially via 3rd party, with a view to bring this in-house as quickly as possible.
Oversee the 3rd party CRM system to enhance customer engagement, retention, and loyalty.
Then to support with in-house development of this.
Monitor and analyze eCommerce performance metrics, including website traffic, conversion rates, and customer feedback.
Use insights to refine strategies and report on ROI.
Work closely with marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to the customer journey and optimize the online shopping experience.
Build and lead a diverse eCommerce team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Support professional growth and continuous learning.
Develop and manage the eCommerce budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve business goals.
Key Requirements: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Deep experience in eCommerce management, with a focus on SEO, website optimization, PPC and CRM strategies.
Proven track record in driving growth for DTC brands within the cosmetics, beauty, retail or FMCG industry.
Proficiency in eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) and strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Experience growing and leading diverse teams, with a commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging workplace.
Good understanding of customer behavior and experience in developing strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
